The property was sufficient for our quick overnight stay; however, the description is incorrect. The second bedroom has a twin bed, not a full, which was surprising since we had four people staying overnight. Several doorknobs were loose or missing, and one of the bedroom TV remotes didn’t work. The kitchen was roomy and the family room had a cozy fireplace, which added positives, but I didn’t feel as though the listing was accurate, and that didn’t leave a good impression for my first Vrbo experience.

Absolutely rubbish place with misrepresentation in the ad and carefully selected photos to not show the reality. Shown to us as ‘sleeps 5’ since we were 5 adults but has two bedrooms (#1 where two adults can sleep on a queen bed - there were two pillows, and #2 where only one adult can sleep on an approximately 43-inch by 81-inch bed and there was 1 pillow). Sofa is not a bed where one additional person could sleep. The door for the closet in the main bedroom was broken. Kitchen has a small table and just 1 chair. The backyard has been advertised as “your own private oasis with a dedicated yard that provides a quiet escape in the heart of the city. A spacious deck invites you to dine al fresco, unwind with a book, or simply soak in the fresh air.” There is no furniture in the fenced small backyard and it requires serious spring cleaning and removing trash. The additional very basic dirty bathroom is in the basement reached by narrow steep stairs not mentioned or shown in the property description. The washer and dryer are in the unfinished cluttered basement as well. The small room leading to the deck is full of small animal feces and marks. We were 5 adults visiting to attend my son’s graduation at Pitt. We were so disgusted by this house that we decided to go to a hotel despite the last-minute price-gouging - we ended up in two different hotels for two nights due to availability.We were charged a large (refundable) security deposit not disclosed prior to the reservation.
